HEAL THE LAND is a personal reflection by Robert Mountford on the corporate journey of humility, repentance and prayer undertaken by Christians from all backgrounds in the opening years of the 21^st Century.  Robert tells the story of how a moment of corporate desperation became an avenue of grace that would impart vision, foster humility, inspire prayer and stimulate faith, so preparing the way for the ‘healing of the land’ of Stoke-on-Trent.

When I first met with church leaders from the Stoke area I was immediately impacted that here was a group of people who carried the passion to develop relationships for the sake of territory, not simply on the grounds of a common identity.  They were humble in heart, ready to hear from one another, and focused on seeing God come to every aspect of their communities.
