Out of that vision from God the Beacon House of Prayer in Sandyford, Stoke-on-Trent, has become a dynamic prayer ministry in the Potteries, a place rich in a revival heritage. This book tells the story of how the Beacon was birthed as a city ministry in 2005, and the journey of its leaders Karen and William Porter and their friends. As a house of prayer, the community is moving towards 24/7 worship and prayer with the wider church in North Staffordshire.

The author is Karen Porter who, along with her husband William, are leaders of the Beacon House of Prayer. They have been married since 1992 and have two children Joshua and Sarah.
