St Patrick Writes

Product Description

Saint Patrick is known all over the world as the patron saint of Ireland. Although he lived as long ago as the fifth century, the story of his life has never been forgotten.

In this booklet, we learn more about Patrick from documents he wrote at times of crisis in his life. The first of these is an angry letter to Coroticus who had killed some of Patrick’s converts and had sold others into slavery. And towards the end of his life, Patrick wrote his Confession, replying to allegations made against him by his fellow-clergy.

In both of these writings, we get very close to a man who believed that to be Christian was to allow Christ to give direction to his whole life.
